Siting: The sculpture is located on a concrete footing on top of a grassy plateau approximately 30' from the driveway to staff parking for the Hollyhock House. Until the spring of 1997 sprinklers watered the sculpture routinely, everyday.

Description: The sculpture is composed of weathering steel brackets and bearings. The bottom of the scepter is composed of a rectangular box form which encloses the connection of the anchoring of the sculpture. Rising from the box form are two square vertical columns. Two identical columns are mounted horizontally on top of the vertical columns with unidirectional bearings. Two square vertical columns with square columns of longer length mounted on unidirectional bearings. The sculpture is located on a concrete footing which extends 1' and 2' out from the sculpture.
