Seeley Wintersmith Mudd Hall of Philosophy

Argonauts Hall.

Originally designed as the Philosophy club room, currently used as a classroom. Ceiling decoration: Jason and the search for the Golden Fleece. [Muralist: Julian Garnsey?]

The fireplace in the Argonauts' Hall features a poem by Alfred, Lord Tennyson:

The lights begin to twinkle from the rocks:
The long day wanes: the slow moon climbs: the deep
Moans around with many voices. Come, my friends,
'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
