From the plaque: Commissioned by Obayashi America Corporation and the Koll Company as part of the Public Art Program of the CRA. The work was conceived by Lita Albuquerque and completed in collaboration with Kohn/Pederson/Fox, Langdon Wilson Architects, the SWA Group, Lonny Gans and Associates and Peter Carlson Enterprises. A single work of art, Site, Memory, Reflection consists of numerous sculptural and architectural elements in alignment with each other. These elements draw the site together, relate it to the imagery of the Central Library, and suggest a spiritual universal whole.
