What I See Can Be Me
Yreina Cervantez and Michael Schnorr, 1993. SPARC. 5th Street between Towne Avenue and Crocker Street.
Artists were assisted by Sol Alvarez, Susan Yamagata, and todd Stands, as well as artists from the homeless community: Florence Hawkins, Eric Kelly, and Charles E. Snow. According to Robin Dunitz' Street Gallery, Michael Schnorr designed the panels closest to Crocker with major input from the street people of Skid Row. Yreina Cervantez' panel "A Rain Drop Falls From My Lips," shows a woman walking in the rain. Her other panel is dedicated to homeless veterans (Dunitz, rev. ed., p. 58)
