Jeffrey Greene (1953- ) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League in New York City before receiving a B.F.A. in 1976 from the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1977, he founded Evergreene Printing Studios, which has been involved in interior restoration, public murals, faux finishes, trompe l'oeil and scenic murals for residences and public buildings.(1) Among his most important works was a set of murals on the western expansion of the United States for the United States House of Representatives.(2) Greene, who was trained as an easel painter, has been exhibited at galleries in Chicago and New York City.
