Jonathan Borofsky

Biographical Information

Jonathan Borofsky (1942 - ), born in Boston, Massachusetts, received his B.F.A. from the Carnegie Mellon University and his M.F.A. from the Yale School of Art and Architecture. His work has been exhibited in major museums and is in public collections in the United States, Europe and Japan. Among his numerous public art installations, are "Hammering Man" located at the Trade Mart on Los Angeles Street and "I Dreamed I Could Fly" in the Civic Center Station of the Metro Red Line.
